Love Tabernacle - Who We Are In Christ

Love Tabernacle Ministries International's (LTMI) vision is to "fashion vessels of honor to carry His Glory". That is:

Each one of us is a tabernacle (i.e., dwelling place) (2 Cor 5:1-4, 2 Pt 1:13-14) or vessel (Acts 9:15)
That must purify ourselves from sin unto honor (1 Thes 4:4, 2 Tim 2:20-21)
So that we may carry His Glory (manifested presence and power)

1 Cor 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Rom 9:23-24
And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy,
which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

2 Cor 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

His Presence is Love, and all else flows from there. As we learn to receive His Love and to allow His Love to flow thru us, to be moved by compassion, the Love of God in motion, that is, faith which works by Love (Gal 5:6), His power shall manifest in and thru our lives to us and to others. Then we shall be Love tabernacles, carry His Glory in the earth.

Eph 3:16-19
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

We endeavor to help you achieve spiritual stability, to provide a place for your spiritual growth and development, and to help you discover your purpose and calling in the body of Christ. We endeavor to:

Minister to the brokenhearted to bring the healing and deliverance of the Lord,
Teach you the Love of God, that God is Love, it is His very nature,
Teach you the Word of God, the precepts and principles of God so that you may be people of Love,
Teach and equip you to be able to flow with the Holy Spirit and in the gifts,
Equip you (the Body of Christ) to do the work of the ministry (Eph 4:11-16),
Activating you (the Body of Christ) and releasing you into your ministry and calling (1 Tim 4:14, 1 Cor 12:7),
Raise up ministries, such as helps, evangelism, intercession and deliverance,
Train and form fivefold ministers and raise up Bible training centers in the field (around the world), and
Minister to ministers to bring refreshing, activation, and into a higher level of ministry.

We endeavor to accomplish this thru local church worship services, bible studies, Bible Schools (including Foundation Class, School of the Spirit, School of Prayer, School of the Believer, School of Evangelism, and the School of Ministry), prayer groups, and other auxiliaries and activities as the Lord Jesus Christ leads.

Our vision includes international works such as raising up bible schools, mission activities, orphanages, printed material, and working with the local overseas churches in ways that facilitate them accomplishing their callings.

Church Authority and Government

Of course, all authority comes from God the Father thru Jesus. God's authority in the church operates as a paternal structure, which is a "father" rule structure. That is,

1. In your own life, being part of the Church, which is the Body of Christ, you are subject to the authority of your Heavenly Father, Jehovah, thru your eldest brother Jesus (Jehoshua (Joshua), Yeshua) (the firstborn among many brethren (Rom 8:29)), thru the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Please note that among Elohim (the Godhead or Trinity) that all 3 are equal (Phil 2:6), but that there is an order (Matt 28:19) so that there would be order and productivity, instead of confusion (1 Cor 14:33, Jam 3:16). God the Father as delegated the authority to Jesus (Matt 28:18, 1 Cor 15:28).

2. In your family or household, while you are a spirit creature living in a body and there is neither male or female in the spirit (Gal 3:28), God chose you to walk in an "office" or "responsibility" as either male or female, and in the family as either husband or wife, father or mother. So your office does not make you greater or lesser in spiritual essence, only in level of responsibility of which you will have to give an account of to the Father (Rom 14:12).

Then in your household, the authority structure is paternal. The husband / father exercises authority and is symbolic of Christ and the church (Eph 5:23-32). There still is an order for productivity and protection (two parts of the covenant). He can delegate authority as in (1) when he is not home the mother rules, or (2) as to the eldest son (e.g., Joseph's coat of many colors).

3. In the church, which is the household of God the Father (Gal 6:10, Eph 2:19), the authority structure is paternal from the Father, delegated thru Jesus, lead by the Holy Spirit, thru the fivefold ministry (Eph 2:20, 3:5, 4:11-12) of apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers, which are the elders or presbyters of the church (1 Pt 5:1-5, 1 Tim 5:1, 5:17, Heb 13:17) (e.g., Peter - 1 Pet 5:1, John - 2 John 1, 3 John 1).

This fivefold government is also called an ecclesiastical government. This structure is a theocracy, not a democracy. That is, a theocracy is a body governed by God, with the Jehovah Father's will being manifested in the operations; thru the Lordship of Jesus Christ as administered by the fivefold ministry; and communicated and directed by the Holy Spirit thru the gifts of the Spirit.

1 Cor 12:4-6
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

1 Cor 12:28
God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. (NASU)

The Gifts of the Spirit

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit within the corporate body as is outlined in:

1 Cor 12:7-10
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. We also believe that all members of the body should be empowered and free to move in the gifts of the Spirit. However, all things should be done decently and in order that the corporate body may be mutually edified (1 Cor 14:39-40).

Opportunities to serve and fellowship with other believers
The Lord has called the fivefold to equip the saints for the work of the ministry:

Eph 4:11-12
And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; (NASU)

Ministry of Helps - opportunities to serve the Lord with your gifts, talents and abilities. Thru the ministry of helps, you can give your time, energy and talents freely to the work of the ministry. We believe that everyone in the body has a specific purpose and task assigned by the Lord. You may not be called to a fivefold ministry, but everyone has the ability to serve in the ministry of helps. Helps can be thought of as Having Enough Loving People Serving.

Greeters ministry
Ushers ministry
Children's Church ministry
Facility - (1) presentation ministry and (2) maintenance ministry
Church office ministry
Publications ministry (books and Internet)
Translation ministry (audio and video)

God has given us all motivational gifts, that as we work them, we find fulfillment that motives us to be an active part of the church. We will study these gifts and help you find your place of fulfillment and fruitfulness:

Rom 12:3-8
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

If you have a calling from the Lord Jesus Christ into the fivefold ministry, you may apply to the School of Ministry.
